Dear Parents/carers

Hello everyone, welcome back to a brand-new term.

The staff and I are so excited to have the children back. They look amazing too. Thank you for sending the children looking so smart, I know there have been issues with uniform, but they really do look fantastic. Not a trainer in sight!

I would just like to remind you that children should not have colours in their hair and not wear large bows. Hair accessories should be small and green where possible.

I would also like to thank you for your patience last night at home time. There were a few teething problems for Nursery and KS1 parents/carers at entrance B. Apologies for that.

It makes such a difference not to have had a proper transition at the end of last term and with bubbles closed, communication was not easy.

Nursery parents/carers will line up on the middle drive for a 3pm finish. Parents/carers will then follow the one-way system.

Year 1 parents/carers will line up at entrance B- middle drive for a 3.10pm finish.

Year 2 parents/carers will also line up at entrance B for 3.20pm finish

The one-way system really does work so well.

Year 3/4 parents/carers line up on the opposite side of entrance B – please try to line up at the fence so that the children can see you. The children will not be allowed to go until they tell an adult that they see someone waiting.

Please try not to block the paths and drive so that the children have a clear view. Once you have collected your child/children please move away from the entrance as soon as possible.

Thank you once again for your patience. It should be better tonight, fingers crossed.

Please remember that dropping off and stopping on zig zag lines and across the drives is illegal and very dangerous for the children. Numbers will be passed onto the police.

It is going to be a very exciting term with a new curriculum in place, information to follow.

Please do not hesitate to ring or email if you have any questions at all or catch myself or Mrs Legge on the drives- morning and afternoon.

Hopefully we will have a much more settled 2021/22.

Have a lovely weekend.

Mrs Paula O’Rourke
