Update for Parents/Carers
Dear Parents/Carers 3rd December 2020
Happy Christmas Countdown!!
I will start with my usual thank you to parents/carers for ensuring the COVID 19 rules are being followed in and around school. Good news today that the vaccine is almost with us. There is hope for the New Year.
I would also like to thank the parents/carers who have been sending messages thanking the staff for their hard work during this term. It means such a lot.
Please ensure that the drive ways, especially at Entrance B, are kept clear at all times. Over the last week more and more people are waiting there or stopping to talk once the children have been picked up. This means that it’s very difficult for parents/carers to see their children at all times or for people to keep moving. Please move away from school as soon as you have your children.
Remember the virus is still out there and we must continue to work together to ensure the safety of everyone. I would like us all to get to the Christmas holidays safely.
Other news:
Parking and dropping off again.
Please do not drop your children off on zig zag lines or across the driveway. This is so dangerous and I really can’t express that enough. Remember the children have a 15-minute window to get into school and there is someone there until 9.15am.
I would just like to remind you that although we are not doing Christmas cards this year, we are doing many other exciting activities and events to take their place. They are all loving PJ day today!!
Some parents/carers are asking about sending presents for staff. We are not accepting these this year but should you want to please donate any money you would have spent to your favourite charity.
The children have been very busy writing their Christmas wishes to decorate the trees in school. These are really lovely and show that the children are really thinking about other people and all hoping that the virus will go away.
